Belum Rainforest Resort which situated on the fringe of Royal Belum Temenggor forest complex, a set in a tropical paradise of Pulau Banding was developed by one of leading development company in Perak. This Project is considered as an environmentally sensitive area due to its geographical location at the upstream of Sungai Perak. Therefore, it is easily exposed to the environmental damages that may cause harm to sensitive recipients such as flora and fauna, Orang Asli, and hydroelectric dam. VETSB was assigned to consult on the Environmental Impact Management Plan (EIMP), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Monitoring (EM), and Environmental Audit (EA) for this Project.
