Refinery & Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) at Pengerang
RAPID is a mega project located in Pengerang, Johor, which initiated for oil and gas refinery plant. It is one of the pioneers in Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated development projects and other associated facilities in Malaysia. VETSB has been given the trust to manage the environmental scope for the 6 main packages in the petrochemical and refinery plant to conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM), as well as to prepare the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Identification (ENVID), and Environmental Compliance Audit (EA) report.
Eco-Tourism Development in Pulau Banding
Belum Rainforest Resort which situated on the fringe of Royal Belum Temenggor forest complex, a set in a tropical paradise of Pulau Banding was developed by one of leading development company in Perak. This Project is considered as an environmentally sensitive area due to its geographical location at the upstream of Sungai Perak. Therefore, it is easily exposed to the environmental damages that may cause harm to sensitive recipients such as flora and fauna, Orang Asli, and hydroelectric dam. VETSB was assigned to consult on the Environmental Impact Management Plan (EIMP), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Monitoring (EM), and Environmental Audit (EA) for this Project.

Woman and Children Block and Cardiological Centre at Hospital Besar Ipoh
Initiated by development company in Taiping, Woman and Children Block and Cardiological Centre at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital is 2nd busiest government cardiology centre in Malaysia. This Project is situated at the heart of Ipoh city center and bounded by several sensitive receptors such as school, hospital and recreational areas as it is a huge challenged to control environmental pollution. Assigned and federally funded by government organization Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), VETSB covers the scope of Environmental Compliance Audit (EA), waste disposal provisions of Environmental Officer (EO) to ensure the Project meet JKR requirements.
1 Malaysia People’s Housing Programme (PR1MA) in Perak
PR1MA is a high-quality housing with lifestyle concepts for the middle-income household in the key urban centers within an integrated community. VETSB successfully secured 4 projects in Perak on Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Environmental Monitoring (EM) throughout the whole project construction for 2 years to minimize the environmental impacts on sensitive receptor areas. The development is located at Kampung Paloh, Falim, Kampar and Meru Raya comprised of 3 high-rise apartment project and 1 double-story terrace project.

Used Lead Acid Battery Plant at Siputeh, Perak
Most recognised brand for automotive car battery supplier in Malaysia with multinational recovery facility plant originated from Philippine. This plant recovered the scheduled waste of lead-acid batteries (SW 102) and the process is extremely sensitive and complex. This recovery facility’s operation license is one of the kinds that needed undergo tedious processes of approval by the Department of Environmental (DOE). With the best possible solution, VETSB provides an Environmental Assessment (EIA) service and has successfully received the approval form DOE.
